This overview lists all improvements, bug fixes and security updates that have been made for release 4.54.0.
1. Improvements
1.1. MOXIS

From now on, an external group can be deleted regardless of whether it contains users or not.

If a task is created with a group placeholder and an additional person is invited to sign, the task is no longer visible in the folder of the user who was originally invited.

Orders with an expiry date prior to the creation date can no longer be created via the REST API.

From now on, MOXIS supports the jpeg-2000 format in the PDF viewer.

From now on, the extensions .local and .loc can also be used in the URL of the job status hook. E.g.: intern.test.local.

From now on, entries in address books can be made in upper and lower case.

The data protection link for MOXIS login has been corrected.

The ‘documentService’ role is available again in the web service.

The XignUp API URL is permanently stored and read-only in the MOXIS user interface.

When uploading attachments, file types are displayed correctly as MIME types.

Word documents (DOC/DOCX) can now be converted to PDF or PDF/A.

PDF documents can now be converted to PDF/A and further edited.

PDF/A conversion can now be activated individually for each process in the process configuration.

PDF to PDF/A conversion can now be enabled in MOXIS via configuration.

The A-Trust API key can now be set in the MOXIS administration page.

The audit log now records when and by whom a web service user was created, changed or deleted.

MOXIS users can now sign orders in the inbox with a qualified signature.

Manual configuration has been reduced. A uniform, curated set of events is active by default in every realm used (analysis & convenience).

Changed user properties are immediately available in MOXIS (without having to log in again).

With ‘Swisscom ZertES only’, orders are visible again in the signature folder.
1.2. MOXIS Guest (for external signatories)

An error message appeared when replacing an external signatory. The malfunction has been fixed.

From now on, MOXIS Guest supports the jpeg-2000 format in the PDF viewer for external signatories.

The data protection link in MOXIS Guest for external signatories has been corrected.

From now on, additional external signatories can be invited if this has been activated in the process. A ‘logged’ forwarding in MOXIS Guest for external signatories can be activated in the process configuration.

Multiple visualisation now also works in MOXIS Guest for external signatories without a configured SES.

If twilioID is not set, the option for SMS TAN transmission is hidden in the user interface in MOXIS Guest for external signatories.

In MOXIS Guest for external signatories, the information page has been improved when an order is no longer available.

For additional recipients in MOXIS Guest for external signatories, ‘Position visualisation yourself’ including symbol/functionality is available.

In the signing modal of MOXIS Guest for external signatories, an additional signature can now be requested (if activated by the client).

In MOXIS Guest for external signatories, the signature request can now be forwarded to another person with a ‘log’.

The data protection text in MOXIS Guest for external signatories has been adapted.

The WACA badge is now displayed in the info tab of MOXIS Guest for external signatories.

To improve accessibility in MOXIS Guest for external signatories, the visibility of the zoom factor has been increased.

Imprint and data protection links are now displayed in MOXIS Guest for external signatories and can be configured specifically for each customer.
1.3. Usability

A notification text (DE) has been corrected.

From now on, the exact signature time from the signed document will be transferred to the MOXIS user interface and the log and displayed there.

If a signatory is replaced, no notification will be sent stating that the order is no longer available for signature by the original signatory.

The help window for placing the signature visualisation has been revised for clarity.

The user-friendliness of the log archive during export has been improved.
1.3.1. Email handling

From now on, collective notifications and bounce emails will be sent again.

An info area has now been set up in the MOXIS email editor, where the version number of the service is stored.

The MOXIS Business Cloud email editor can now be used with branding configurations.
-
The MOXIS email editor now sends emails via OAuth (Basic Auth for Microsoft SMTP will be deactivated in September 2025).
1.3.2. Templates and reports

The variable representedUserName is now stored in the MOXIS Email Editor in templates that have an optional representative box in all languages.

Updating drafts is working again.

Signatures from InstantSign are now correctly logged in the CSRD report.
1.3.3. Signature process

Optional fields for signature comments/reasons for rejection are deactivated if no value is configured in the process configuration.

If ‘SMS TAN or password’ is mandatory, an order can also be created via API without password transmission (only telephone number).
2. Bug fixes

A bug has been fixed: Sending the daily bounce notification no longer fails.

A bug has been fixed: Drafts with documents containing role placeholders can now be used again without any problems.

A bug has been fixed: Once assigned, form fields are locked from now on and cannot be reassigned anymore.

A bug has been fixed: It was not possible to create a draft from a template with role placeholders. This malfunction has been corrected.

3. Security updates/performance

General security and performance improvements have been made.

When using an SVG file as a customer logo in MOXIS Guest for external signers, only the graphic is embedded. Potential code in the SVG is eliminated.
