Users can also create external groups themselves for processes with the serial function (see figure 1). However, only contacts saved in the global address book can be added to these groups.

Click on the + Create new group button. In the pop-up that opens, define a group name and select the desired users by ticking the corresponding checkboxes (see figure 2). If you want to add all contacts to the group, click the Select all button and confirm with Apply.

Please note that the option Share group cannot be deactivated. Thus, external groups that you create are available and editable for all users via the global address book.
